The Company ChemSynergy AG was founded in Meerbusch, Germany in early 2000. Its management has a distinguished and worldwide reputation throughout the oleochemical industry enabling ChemSynergy AG to now become a major distributor of chemicals to European, Middle-East and African markets. The company’s prime focus is in the supply of oleochemicals and renewable sources. We are particularly strong in the traditional distribution of oleochemicals, especially fatty alcohols (including ethanol), fatty acids, fatty amines, glycerine, methyl ester, special esters and defined oils for the cosmetic and food industries. The company also focuses on e-commerce technologies, mainly to speed up communication and reduce process costs to support our customers and principals as far as the distribution of chemicals is concerned. Competence and worlwide presence – our Strengths ChemSynergy AG distinguishes itself from other distributors in the industry by providing technical and process consultancy especially for the production of oleochemicals and their derivatives to our partners. Our principal supply base is mainly made up of Asian companies, which strengthens our relationship with existing and potential new suppliers. Among the oleochemicals manufacturers this is recognized as a strong competitive edge. As an example, ChemSynergy AG represents Chemrez in Europe. Chemrez is a company focused on the production of oleochemical derivatives and is based in the Philippines. Benefiting from ChemSynergy’s technical consultancy service, Chemrez had build a 120,000 tonne methyl ester plant, which was on stream in the third quarter of 2006. As a result of close relationships such as this, we can ensure a continuous and secure supply of chemicals to our customers. Synergestic Approach In August 2005 ChemSynergy AG started a co-operation with Stockmeier Chemie GmbH, one of the top five distributors of chemicals in Germany. This gives us access to the distribution network of more than 10,000 active customers. The co-operation also guarantees a stable supply of oleochemicals and a widened product portfolio to the whole Stockmeier Group. The co-operation demonstrates that we do justice to our name by using synergies in the thriving markets of Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. Our Future –International ChemSynergy AG maintains subsidiaries in the Philippines, China, Singapore and the United Kingdom. With regard to our expanding worldwide operations in a continuously growing market, ChemSynergy AG recently established a representation in India.
